  • Grant Readiness Assessment

    Pre-Assessment: Client completes an in-depth intake form to share organizational, financial, and program details required for a Grant Readiness Assessment

    Two 45-minute strategy calls with a principal consultant

    Grant Readiness Assessment: 501(c)(3) status, mission clarity, financial compliance, etc.

    Client receives a 3-5 page custom report detailing the organization’s grant readiness and a roadmap for next steps

  • Grant Writing - Letter Proposal Template

    Grant Proposal Template: Tailored proposal template reflecting organizational mission and vision, easily adaptable for different funders

    Letter proposals are recommended for funding requests of $5,000 or less

  • Optional Follow-Up Coaching

    If a client is not ready to proceed with grant applications, we provide tailored monthly coaching to build the necessary capacity for future success.

  • Grant Writing - Full Service

    Development of grant proposal(s) with supporting materials that reflect organization’s vision, impact, and readiness

    End product of 1-3 grant proposals ready for submission

  • Grant Research

    Targeted Funding Research: Identification of funding opportunities strategically aligned with organizational mission, priorities, and grant cycles

    Curated Grant Recommendations: Tailored portfolio of up to 10 potential grant opportunities (typically 6-8) from foundations and/or government entities

    Grant Evaluation Report: Client receives a detailed rating and recommendation report to prioritize opportunities

    Impact & Storytelling Coaching: Coaching to turn data and results into powerful stories and visuals that enhance funder engagement

  • Letter of Intent & Grant Proposal Planning

    Funder Strategy & Positioning: Identification of the strongest approach for engaging prospective funders, including when to use a Letter of Intent (LOI)

    Letter of Intent Development: A concise, compelling LOI that clearly communicates need, program impact, and alignment with funder priorities

    Proposal Preparation Support: Guidance on assembling key components of a full proposal, including narrative structure, budgets, and supporting documents

    Client receives a polished LOI and materials for proposal development, including a customized proposal planning calendar and checklist to guide submission readiness

Caroline has over 25 years of experience in philanthropic grantmaking and a diverse background spanning government, private, and nonprofit sectors. She brings a global perspective and operational acumen to helping mission-driven organizations secure funding and build resilient programs. Caroline holds dual master’s degrees in International Studies and Business Administration from the University of Denver and is recognized for her analytical mindset, diligence, and commitment to advancing sustainable nonprofit initiatives. Based in Colorado, she enjoys travel and outdoor adventures with her family.

Cheri Ryan

Cheri Ryan has over 15 years of experience in nonprofit operations and organizational development. She has helped organizations secure funding from sources including the Roy A. Hunt Foundation, the Wal-Mart Foundation, and a Federal CARES Act Grant. Since 2023, she has served as Director of Consultant Services at Generis, supporting consultants through project management, event planning, and systems development. Cheri lives in Colorado with her husband and two daughters.
